Currently, the BMC has undertaken a slew of beautification projects, including the Powai lake beautification project, the Hanging Gardens beautification project, and the Versova beach maintenance and beautification. “The dim lights will change colour periodically, and create an illusion of sailboats stationed along the shore,” said a source from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. The civic body plans to install 100 pillars about 12 metres high, which will look like masts of a sailboat.
