Regarding three-phase motors, the stator winding has two types of connection: triangle and star. The star connection is to connect the tails of the three-phase windings together, and the head of the three-phase windings is connected to the power supply. The star connection has external star connection and internal connection. There are two conditions for star connection. The inner star connection motor is used to fix the three-phase winding connected star point at the appropriate position of the stator winding.

There are three lead-out ends, while the outer star connection is the three-phase winding head and tail. , And the connection and wiring outside the motor. The delta connection method is to connect the head of one phase winding with the tail of the other phase winding, that is, U1 is connected to W2, V1 is connected to U2, W1 is connected to V2, and the connection point is connected to the power supply. If each phase winding is regarded as a line, after the stars are connected, it looks like a shining star, and the triangle connection is like a triangle, so it is called a star connection or a triangle connection. In the star connection, the line current is equal to the phase current, and the line voltage is 3 times the root voltage of the phase voltage (in the delta connection, the line voltage is equal to the phase voltage and the line current is equal to \u0026 radic; 3 times the phase current). The accepted voltage is relatively low. In high-voltage motors, the current is often small, and the insulation level of the motor is required to be higher.
