The maintenance of the double mirror is also relatively simple. It should be placed upright in normal times, and be careful when using it to avoid displacement of the prism due to shock. If there is dust on the lens, try to use a rubber blower to blow it off with your hands. Use less flannel or lens paper to prevent the lens from being roughened or damaging the coating. Those who have not mastered the maintenance technology of optical instruments, do not disassemble the binoculars by themselves, because all the optical parts of it have been adjusted before leaving the factory. If it is disassembled, it is difficult to restore it under amateur conditions.
When stargazing at night, the binoculars often get dew. It should be placed in a cool and ventilated place during the day to let it dry naturally. In order to prevent mold from forming on the lens, it is best to store the binoculars in a drying box. A tin biscuit box with good airtightness can also be used. Several packs of desiccant are placed in the box, which is usually updated every three or four months.
