It can bind a one inch document in about eight seconds which issimilar to the speed offered by the system three pro. However, it iscapable of binding documents between one and three inches thick in10-12 seconds.
The System Three pro takes about eighteen seconds forlarger books. That means that the System Four offers a fifty percentperformance increase over the system three pro.This machineincludes a convenient debind feature. Once you have bound a documentwith Surebind the only way to edit the contents is to cut the spine offthe document and then rebind it. Trying to cut the spine off a documentusing a knife or sharp object can be extremely dangerous. For thisreason, the System Four Bind offers a feature that will cut the spineoff your document. This is incredibly useful.The SurebindSystem Four bind is really easy to use. All you need to do is insertthe pages of your document onto the machine and then bring down thepressure bar. The machine does the rest and will let you know when yourdocument is finished.The hole pattern used for Surebind isdesigned to match up with the hole pattern produced for plastic combbinding. This means that it is possible for organizations that have ahigh volume plastic comb binding machine to use Surebind without havingto buy a new punching die.
In fact, you can even use this machine torebind documents that have been bound with plastic comb binding. Weaknesses / Limitations: Thismachine is designed to be able to handle document lengths up tofourteen inches and document thicknesses up to three inches.
