This house is made up of three simple buildings

Japanese architect Katsutoshi Sasaki designed and built a home for himself. This 102-square-meter property is located in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, and is called T Noie. It refers to the T-shaped structure of the house.

The house has a dark red cedar façade with bright and airy interior decoration.

From the outside it is dark and mysterious, with almost no windows. But the interior is a stunning open space with an 8-meter-high corridor. On the high floors, the rooms consist of simple wooden platforms connected by very basic stairs.

The designer said: “From another perspective, the building height of 8 meters is the standard of Japanese houses and the basic size of small town houses. But the height of the ceiling of eight meters is special. It is the connection between nature and people. scale.”

The best residential Lochside House in 2018

The British Lochside House was created by the design team Haysom Ward Millar Architects. This humble cottage by the lake in the Scottish Highlands was named the best home in the UK in 2018 and won the RIBA Best House of the Year award.

The house is located beside the picturesque lake and is the home of a ceramic artist. Because of its remote location, the house can use solar panels to generate electricity and drill holes to provide clean drinking water.

Chile Sea View House H House

Chile H House is located on the coast of Zappara. This long concrete house spans the hillside and provides residents with a perfect view of the Pacific Ocean.

The extended terrace allows residents to fully enjoy the sea view, and also has a swimming pool suspended in the sky.

The local design firm Felipe Assadi Arquitectos used reinforced concrete to build the house, with two beams spanning the roof and the first floor.
