Five reasons why the gearbox produces noise during operation

The gearbox will produce noise when it is running. How does the noise occur? The editor here summarizes several reasons for the noise of the gearbox during operation:

1. Due to errors in tooth pitch and tooth shape, meshing impact will occur during operation and noise will be generated. Frictional noise also occurs due to relative sliding between tooth surfaces.

2. Gear design. For the sand dredger gearbox, the coincidence is too small, the tooth profile is improperly modified or not modified, and the structure of the gearbox is unreasonable, etc., will generate noise.

3. Gear processing. The noise caused by excessive base joint error and tooth profile error, excessive tooth side clearance, excessive surface roughness, etc.

4. Gear train and gearbox. Assembly eccentricity, low contact accuracy, poor parallelism of the shaft, insufficient rigidity of the shaft, bearing, and support, low rotation accuracy of the bearing, and improper clearance may cause noise.

5. Input torque in other aspects. The vibration of the gearbox, the torsional vibration of the shaft system, the poor balance of the motor and other transmission pairs, etc. will also cause noise. zddriver planetary gear motor
