The team has recovered a Maruti Swift car used in the crime. A PCR call was received regarding an accident at IOC red light, Delhi Cantt. The accused present in the car opened fire on constable Gaurav at the flyover loop of Sanjay T-Point near Mmehram Nagar red light. The gang fired at the police party when it was intercepted.The police said that the accused were involved in firing at a police constable on January 11.. Before committing the crime, they would select an ATM where there was no guard. Subsequently, they used to withdraw money from ATM.According to the police, the gang is a criminal syndicate specialising in ATM cloning in Delhi and NCR. Police have arrested Praveen Dagar (24), Ajay Kumar (23) and Vipin Dagar (25).Police said that their crime came to light on January 11. It was known that the accused were in Goa. However, the gang members managed to flee the spot. An attempt to murder case was registered at Delhi Cantt. Accordinglly, they were arrested.
