Refuting allegations of the data being purposely given in a format that was unreadable by the University Computerisation Centre (UCC) thus Water Filled Barrier rendering it impossible for the department to continue pre-exam related work of final year students, Dr Atul Wadegaonkar, general manager-educational eGovernance said, “We had transferred the data that we had collected of the students when they had taken admission in the first year through the Pre-Admission Online Registration process. He added that MKCL had kept its side of the MoU by transferring the data in the format that is used by MKCL.A. MKCL will be expected to do pre-exam work like issuing and preparing hall tickets and assigning centres. “After transfer of data we had no role to play. However, as the university was not having the required software and platform, the data could not be processed thus forcing the MU to go back to MKCL. Dr M.
