A DJB spokesperon said the matter will be investigated. We dont have enough manpower to sort out this issue; it will take time to solve this problem,” said the sewage department official, DJB. The people living in Trilokpuri Block 2 have been either buying mineral water cans or using RO water for non-drinking purposes.
The residents have made several complaints about the “turbid and blackish water” to the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) and concerned agencies, but to no avail. When the Asian Age scribe visited the spot on Monday and enquired about the delay in solving the issue, the DJB and sewage department officials blamed the locals for the water crises.
