One remote can control multiple areas such as sitting room

Compared to traditional switches, the RF remote control dimmer is a great innovation that enables easier and more  flexible lighting control since it is wireless between the switch(remote) and the receiver.

To replace your traditional switches with remote control dimmer, a whole RF dimmer system is required. It includes a RF signal sender and a dimmer with RF receiver built-in. The sender sends out signal to the dimmer, and the dimmer receives the signal and converts it to PWM signal and dim the connected lights. The sender and the receiver shall be paired first and then they can work together, and it is easy to do via a key on the dimmer. Before replacement, you have to figure out some issues.

Firstly, you have to make sure that whether your lights are dimmable or not. Generally traditional incandescent, halogen lights are dimmable, the fluorescent lights with electronic ballast are dimmable. Regarding the new LED lighting, there dimmable and non-dimmable Jingbei Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. ones, you have to consult your supplier.

Secondly, the dimmer (receiver) shall be chosen according to your lighting input type. For AC input lights, Triac dimmers or phase-cut dimmers are the popular choices. For DC input ones, PWM dimmers are the suitable choices. Make sure that the dimmer you chose is designed with RF control function.

Thirdly, which type of remote would you like to choose? The senders are available in various types, such as handheld remote with keys, handheld remote with touch control, wall mounted touch panel, rotary knob and push button. These remotes feature their own advantages respectively, you can choose according to your preference. Touch remote is the newly developed style that enables full touch control by finger touch. Touch switch and touch dim are possible and easy.

RF remote control dimmer enables not only easier and more flexible control, but also multiple areas control by one remote. The distance between the remote and dimmer can be up to 20 meters. One remote can control multiple areas such as sitting room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen synchronously or separately as long as you pair the remote and dimmers correctly.
