Optical Fiber Distribution Box Improvement Measures

When the optical fiber distribution box is in operation, faults will inevitably occur. In view of some common faults, some improvements can be made to the optical fiber distribution box.  The following is a brief introduction of nbstarlite’s China Fiber Optic Splice Closure Manufacturers:

1, if the new column is equipped with a radio frame, when making the optical fiber distribution box shell, choose 2mm thick stainless steel plate, and appropriately scale up the size of the optical fiber distribution box, in order to increase the electrical safety distance between the outgoing lines of each branch, outgoing lines and the box shell, which is conducive to the operation and maintenance of agricultural electricians and the replacement of fusible pieces, but also can dissipate heat.

2, the selection of residual current protector.  Products that meet GB6829 standard and are certified by China Electrical Product Certification Committee must be selected.  A delay protector similar to LJM(J) series power-saving protector with low sensitivity can be selected.

  1. Protection circuit shall be adopted to prevent the occurrence of external circuit faults powered by optical fiber distribution box.  Choose a small size of intelligent phase-loss protector, such as DA88CM-II type motor phase-loss protection module, installed in the optical fiber distribution box to prevent the motor from burning out due to low voltage phase-loss operation.
  2. Selection of fuses.  The rated current of the total overcurrent protection fuse on the low-voltage side of the distribution transformer shall be greater than the rated current on the low-voltage side of the distribution transformer, generally 1.5 times of the rated current. The rated current of the melt shall be determined according to the allowable overload multiple of the transformer and the fuse characteristics.
  3. Improve the connection mode of the low-voltage capacitor bank of the original optical fiber distribution box, and change its installation position from the pile head on the AC contactor to be connected between the low-voltage inlet line of the Optical Fiber Distribution Boxand the meter.  Prevent inaccurate metering of metering device due to phase failure of capacitor circuit or capacitor damage during operation.
