Motor speed regulation is a common topic. For applications that require relatively high speed adjustment accuracy, an AC servo motor is generally used to achieve it. In some applications with lower speeds, stepper motors are generally used for speed regulation. However, with the development of brushless DC technology, brushless motor speed regulation has become a trend that replaces servo motors and stepper motors. So what are the advantages of brushless motor speed regulation to replace traditional automated motors? Let’s discuss it together below.

1. Although the brushless DC motor has no encoder and only three Halls as feedback, with the development of FOC control technology, the speed change rate of the brushless DC motor under load can reach less than 0.5% Level, in terms of speed adjustment accuracy, it is close to the level of Reversible AC Motors Suppliers.

4. Compared with the traditional AC variable frequency speed control, the brushless motor has high speed control accuracy, small unit size, and many control methods. There are multiple methods such as analog quantity, frequency speed control, pulse width speed control, and bus control. The speed ratio range is much higher than the combination of AC motors and frequency converters, but the current brushless speed regulation is still limited to the lower power range. The main reason is that the production of DC brushless motors is still dominated by low power. Brushless DC motors above W are already very large.
