Thin cables are generally used for bus-type network wiring connections

If you want to widen the network range, you need to use a repeater. For example, 4 repeaters are used to connect 5 network segments, so that the maximum network interval can reach 925 meters. The main models are SYV type, whose insulating layer is solid polyethylene; SBYFV type, whose insulating layer is foamed polyethylene; and SYK type. If you use a thick cable to connect directly to the network card, the network card must have an AUI interface (15-pin D-type interface).

Take the SYV type cable as an example. The domestic coaxial cables have specifications such as SYV75-3, SYV75-5, SYV75-7, and SYV75-9. Thin cables are generally used for bus-type network wiring connections. Aluminum foil shielded or foil-clad cables are not suitable for television monitoring systems, Hydraulic Fitting Manufacturer but can be used to transmit radio frequency signals.

The maximum length of each trunk line of the thin cable network is 185 meters, and each trunk line can access up to 30 users. Foamed polyethylene material is less prone to loss of video signals than polyethylene. It also increases the flexibility of the cable and facilitates installation, but it easily absorbs moisture and thus changes the electrical function. Because of its rigidity, solid polyethylene has better shape retention than foam materials and can withstand external squeezing pressure.

The coaxial cable shielding layer copper mesh can shield electromagnetic interference or EMI unwanted external signal interference. The number of twisted wires in the braided layer and the copper content determine its anti-interference ability. According to different diameters, coaxial cables can be divided into thick cables and thin cables. Use the T-type BNC interface connector to connect the BNC interface network card, and terminal resistors need to be installed at both ends.
